| Rainey Fine Art Gallery Makes A Move |
|
Lisa Rainey, purveyor and curator of Rainey Fine Art Gallery has announced that
the gallery will be moving from it’s current location in downtown Balboa’s
historic “Bubbles” building at the end of the month.
“We want to thank our loyal clientele for their continuing support for our
various gallery shows and events.” shared Rainey, adding that she has found such
joy in being part of this wonderful community. "We have met so many memorable
people who have shared a common desire to see the art culture expand to new
heights in the Balboa and Newport Beach area. Although we have loved our gallery
in Balboa, the prospective sale of the building prevents us from continuing in
this venue that we have so enjoyed", said Rainey.
Rainey has developed a hub for locals interested in the arts. She has hosted a
variety of artistic exhibits and gallery events including lectures, poetry
readings and weekly paint nights. Beyond Rainey’s mainstay of Plein Air artists,
the gallery’s exhibits have ranged from abstract , figurative and photography
with the most recent event featuring a juried still life competition. Rainey’s
studio events have also expanded into mid-week and evening classes and workshops
for both seasoned and beginning painters as well as children's classes and
creative writing workshops.
Rainey says that she has accomplished her dream of
providing a venue in order to connect artists and to bring a community of art
lovers together. She also says that she is hopeful to continue what she has
started in the Balboa/Newport Beach area and will be posting the new location
information on the website once it has been determined.
A new location has not been secured but check back here for updates.

Rainey Fine Art Gallery
Welcomes art lovers, artists and non-artists. We represent community and provide
a place that hosts events encompassing all of the arts. Our purpose is to
offer connections and communication in Christian values, art, artists, and the creative
process.
We are a working gallery and believe the process should be shared as well as the
finished piece of art.
We hope to encourage all, bring vision, and promote culture, while focusing on education
and change.
